The word 'anime' (アニメ) is a Japanese shortening of the English word 'animation' — a gairaigo, or foreign loanword.
Countess Phyllis was reincarnated with memories of her previous life intact. Her family treated Phyllis badly because she was born blind. She was able to control more mana than normal people, and her ability to easily wield magic also made her disliked by others.
One day, while on an outing, Phyllis was suddenly attacked by demons. She found herself all alone, stuck at the bottom of a deep ravine... Just when it seemed hopeless, she was saved by a large wolf, a "sacred beast" of legend. Now together with the sacred beast Garu, Phyllis will get back to the surface and set out on her adventure!
