The catalogue spine and cross-source identifier mapping come from the openly-licensed manami-project anime-offline-database (database under ODbL 1.0, contents under DbCL 1.0), with the ID crosswalk extended by nattadasu/animeApi (ODbL/DbCL). Additional factual metadata — titles, air dates, episode counts, relations — is drawn from the AniListpublic API; factual catalogue information is not itself subject to copyright, and we credit AniList as the upstream source under their terms. AnimeSphere normalizes, enriches, de-duplicates, and stores this data in its own database; all derived presentation, scoring, and editorial are AnimeSphere's own.
Some cover/backdrop artwork and regional streaming-availability data are provided by TMDB — this product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB — with availability data powered by JustWatch. Additional region-correct streaming availability information is provided by Streaming Availability API by Movie of the Night. Marks belong to their owners.
Plot synopses for some titles are drawn from the Anime News Network Encyclopedia and are shown with a link back to the specific ANN entry, as ANN's terms require. The “Based on” source-material lineage (origin manga/novel) is sourced from Wikidata under CC0 1.0 (public domain) and labelled “via Wikidata” where it appears. Manga synopses & publication details (chapters, status, year, related series) are provided by MangaUpdates under its API attribution terms, deep-linked to the source series on each manga page; factual fields are non-copyrightable.
Opening/ending theme metadata and preview audio are sourced from AnimeThemes.moe, a community-run open archive, used with attribution.
