AnimEigo Sets Five Titles for 2027. All Five Hold Zero Free Episodes Here
Three complete 52-episode runs we checked this week are ready to play instead, and two of the three are in Spanish, which is worth saying out loud.

AnimEigo has five titles lined up for release in 2027, as reported by Anime News Network: Antique Bakery, Welcome to Irabu's Office, Ruin Explorers: Fam & Ihrie, ReLIFE, and Dog of Flanders: The Movie. The Dog of Flanders release is set to carry the uncut Pioneer version.
That is the news. Here is the part we can actually measure, which is our own shelf.
What our catalogue holds for these five
All five are indexed on AnimeSphere, and every single one of them has zero free episodes available here. That covers Antique Bakery (2008), Welcome to Irabu's Office (2009), Ruin Explorers Fam & Ihrie (1995), the 1997 Dog of Flanders film, and both ReLIFE (2016) and ReLIFE: Final Arc (2018).
The 1975 Flanders no Inu television series, 52 episodes, is indexed too. It also holds zero free episodes.
We are not saying these titles are hard to find, out of print, or missing from anywhere else. We checked our own shelf, and the answer on our own shelf is zero free episodes.
Three complete runs we checked this week
If you came here to press play on something old and finished, three complete runs we went through upload by upload on 2026-08-01 are ready now.
- Heidi, Girl of the Alps (1974): 52 of 52 episodes free, no region restriction, on the channel "Heidi - Español", which carries a verified badge. Numbering runs exactly 1 through 52, each episode between 1449 and 1486 seconds.
- Maya the Bee (1975): 52 of 52 episodes free, no region restriction, on the channel "La Abeja Maya - Español Latino", which also carries a verified badge. Numbering again runs exactly 1 through 52, each episode between 1396 and 1479 seconds.
- Speed Racer (1967): 52 of 52 episodes free, no region restriction, on the channel TokuSHOUTsu, which carries a verified badge. Every title reads as a full episode, numbering exact from 1 through 52, each between 1544 and 1564 seconds.
Two of those three are in Spanish
The caption data on Heidi and on Maya the Bee is Spanish speech recognition, which means the audio on both is Spanish. Neither carries an English track. We would rather write that down than let a count speak for something it does not cover.
For a reader who watches in Spanish, those two are not a consolation prize. They are complete, unrestricted, free, and the numbering has no gaps in either one. For a reader who needs English, Speed Racer is the one of the three that has it: those uploads carry Japanese audio with an authored English subtitle track.
We are not claiming any of the three resembles the five titles in the news. They are simply what we verified this week, and what we can stand behind.
