Shiden Kanzaki's Black Bullet novel series is being restarted under the title Black Bullet: New World Order. Anime Corner presents it as the property's first substantial revival in twelve years. That is the whole of it: nothing about the new project's story, staff, publisher or timing has been established.
A reader who hears that and looks for the anime on our free and legal shelf comes up empty. Black Bullet is recorded here as a 2014 television series, 13 episodes at 24 minutes. Its animesphere.app page was loaded twice today: HTTP 200 both times, the title "Watch Black Bullet Online" both times, and no free episode count either time. We hold nothing free of it.
What the post-apocalyptic shelf actually holds
Our index carries the tag Post-Apocalyptic on Black Bullet at rank 92 out of 100, AniList's community measure of how central a tag is. 414 entries carry that tag, and every one of those pages was fetched twice today: 828 requests, all HTTP 200, with no free episode count or language note changing between the passes. 20 of the 414 state a free episode count, adding to 90 episodes. Split by the first-aired year we record:
- 164 entries are recorded as first airing before 2011. Seven state a count, 57 episodes between them.
- 203 are recorded as first airing in 2011 or later. Ten state a count, 14 episodes between them.
- 47 have no year recorded in our index. Three state a count, 19 episodes between them.
The 2011-and-later bucket states more counts than the older one, with far fewer episodes behind them: eight of its ten state exactly one episode. The seven older entries state 30, 12, 9, 3, 1, 1 and 1.
Thirty episodes of After War Gundam X
After War Gundam X is recorded here as a 1996 television series, 39 episodes at 24 minutes. Its page stated 30 free episodes on both passes today, with the language note "Japanese audio". Its 30 rows cover episodes 1 to 30, all from the channel GUNDAM CHANNEL INTL, none retired, all allowing the United States, on 30 distinct videos. Episodes 1, 15 and 30 opened today from the United States: HTTP 200, playable, 1,460 seconds each against that recorded length. Those three report an authored English subtitle track beside an automatic Japanese caption: Japanese audio with a real subtitle file, not an English dub. The channel carries no verified badge. At 30 of a recorded 39, the free run stops before the series does.
Sound of the Sky, all twelve
Sound of the Sky is recorded here as a 2010 television series, 12 episodes at 24 minutes, and its page stated 12 free episodes on both passes with no language note at all. Its 12 rows cover episodes 1 to 12, all from Nozomi Entertainment, none retired, each allowing Canada and the United States, on 12 distinct videos. Episodes 1, 6 and 12 opened today from the United States: HTTP 200, playable, at 1,465, 1,465 and 1,569 seconds. Those pages report no caption tracks. Frame images from episodes 1 and 6 show English subtitles burned into the picture. Not an English dub either. The channel carries no verified badge. Twelve of a recorded twelve, so this run reaches the final episode.
