Crunchyroll Sets English Dub Casts for Mushoku Tensei, 100 Girlfriends and Polar Opposites
Three simultaneous dub launches land on Sunday, covering one of the most closely watched isekai franchises and two very different romantic comedies.

Crunchyroll has announced the English dub casts for the new seasons of **Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation**, **The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You**, and **You and I Are Polar Opposites**. Per Anime News Network's report, dubbed episodes for all three arrive on Sunday.
Why the timing matters as much as the casting
Simulcast dubs used to be the exception. A decade ago, an English track for a currently-airing show arrived long after the season had finished, if it arrived at all, and by then the conversation had moved on. Launching three dubs across the same weekend is the current normal, and it changes how these shows perform. Dub viewers are no longer catching up on a discourse they missed; they are in the group chat on the same day as everyone else.
That plays out differently for each title. Mushoku Tensei is the prestige case: Studio Bind was founded specifically to adapt it, and since the 2021 debut it has been a common reference point for the well-animated end of the isekai genre. It also carries the heaviest continuity load of the three, with several seasons of established voice work behind its leads — which is exactly why dub audiences scrutinise these announcements so closely.
The two romantic comedies live or die on delivery instead. 100 Girlfriends is a gag machine, built on the escalating absurdity of its premise, and it only lands if the dub can keep up with that pacing. You and I Are Polar Opposites is the quieter one, a school romance where a whole scene can turn on how a line is under-played. Comedy and romance are the two genres where dubbing is hardest to get right, so fan reaction to those two will probably be louder than to Mushoku Tensei.
What you can watch free on AnimeSphere right now
Straight answer: none of these three series is free to watch here. We have catalogue pages for all of them, but no streamable episodes, so anyone following the new seasons should watch them where they are licensed.
What we do have, free and legal, is the neighbouring shelf:
- **Magic Knight Rayearth** (20 episodes) — CLAMP's 1994 series about three girls pulled into a fantasy world built on overt RPG logic. It is isekai from before the label stuck, and it makes a genuinely interesting double feature with Mushoku Tensei's more cynical handling of the same setup.
- **There's No Freaking Way I'll Be Your Lover! Unless…** (12 episodes) — the closest thing we carry to the Polar Opposites register: a romance built on two people insisting, loudly, that this is not happening.
- **Actually, I Am** (13 episodes) — a high-school rom-com about a boy who cannot keep a secret and the classmate whose secret he is now keeping. Broad, warm, very watchable.
- **My Dress-Up Darling** (first 3 episodes free) — if you want the best-looking romantic comedy of recent years, start here.
We will keep checking whether any of the three announced series become legally streamable here. Until then, we would rather point you somewhere honest than pretend we have them.
