Dark Gathering is getting a second season in 2027, as reported by Anime News Network. The first season began airing in July 2023, and a horror visual has been released for the new one, the first of several planned. The rest of this is our own shelf.
What we hold for Dark Gathering
Our index files the first season as a 2023 TV series, 25 episodes at 24 minutes each. The second season has its own entry, with no year, no episode total recorded, and only three descriptive tags. Both pages were loaded today and returned HTTP 200. Neither states a free episode count. Nothing of Dark Gathering is playable here.
The exorcism shelf
96 entries in our index carry the descriptive tag Exorcism, a tag rather than a genre. Dark Gathering's first season is one of the 96. The second-season entry is not, because it does not carry the tag. All 96 pages were loaded three times today from the United States, all returning HTTP 200. The shape:
- Exactly 11 of the 96 state a free episode count, 37 episodes between them.
- 8 of the 11 state exactly one episode.
- 2 are the 2025 Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube remake entries, at 13 episodes each, which is 26 of the 37.
- The eleventh is Kaya-chan Isn't Scary at 3 episodes.
Those single-episode entries include JUJUTSU KAISEN, Toilet-bound Hanako-kun and Dekin no Mogura: The Earthbound Mole.
The two we opened today
Kaya-chan Isn't Scary is filed as a 2026 TV series, 12 episodes at 24 minutes each. Its page states 3 free episodes, carries the note "Japanese audio", and read 3 on every pass. Our records hold rows for episodes 1, 2 and 3, with no country restriction recorded. All three uploads were opened today and played from a United States request. Each reports an authored English subtitle track plus an automatic Japanese one. The channel is Crunchyroll, with a YouTube verified badge, the titles match the numbers we store, and each upload runs 1,430 seconds against the recorded 24 minutes, so these are whole episodes. Three of a recorded 12 stops well short of the end.
Mob Psycho 100 is filed as a 2016 TV series, 12 episodes at 24 minutes each. Its page states 1 free episode, carries no language note, and read 1 on every pass. We hold one row, episode 1, with no country restriction recorded. That upload was opened today and played from a United States request. It reports authored and automatic English caption tracks, which establishes English audio, and its title carries the channel's own "English Dub" label. The channel is Crunchyroll Dubs, with a YouTube verified badge, and the upload runs 1,460 seconds against the recorded 24 minutes.
The pair we are not pointing at
The two Nube entries, one recorded as the 2025 series and one as its Part 2, each state 13 episodes. That is all we will report, because our filing of those rows is ambiguous. 9 of the video ids under the first are also filed under the second, and 4 more videos sit against two different episode numbers of the first. We are not recommending either entry, or sending anyone to a numbered episode of one.
