Digimon has a new television anime officially in production, announced for 2027. The franchise has also put out a teaser trailer for an anniversary series called "The Best Adventure We Chose", shown ahead of Digimon's 30th anniversary. Both were reported by Anime Corner.
So here is the honest state of Digimon on AnimeSphere as of 2026-08-01.
One complete run, and it is not in English
We index 35 Digimon entries. Of those, 33 carry no episode source rows at all, which means there is nothing on them to press play on.
The one complete run is Digimon Adventure:, the 2020 series, at 67 episodes. All 67 are free and reachable from the United States with no region restriction, on Toei Animation's own YouTube channel, which carries a verified badge. We checked all 67 uploads individually on 2026-08-01, and the run holds up:
- Every upload is titled as a complete episode, and the numbering matches ours exactly from 1 through 67.
- Each one runs between 1383 and 1398 seconds.
- There were no failures and no duplicated episodes.
The caption data on those uploads is Japanese speech recognition only. In plain terms, that is Japanese audio with Portuguese subtitles. There is no English track of any kind anywhere in this run.
The airing series looks stocked and is not
DIGIMON BEATBREAK is currently airing, and our own record for the series lists an episode length of 24 minutes. Our index shows 19 free episode slots for it, filled by 25 videos on that same Toei Animation channel. We checked all 25 on 2026-08-01. Every single one runs between 41 and 108 seconds. Thirteen are labelled as episode trailers, and one is titled in Spanish. Not one of them is a complete episode.
So the count that matters, stated plainly: the number of complete Digimon episodes a reader in the United States can play free in English on AnimeSphere right now is zero.
Something complete you can start today
If what you wanted was a long, finished, English-language run you can play here, use Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL II, the 2012 series, at 73 episodes. All 73 of 73 are free, with no region restriction, on the Official Yu-Gi-Oh! channel, which carries a verified badge. We went through all 73 uploads one by one on 2026-08-01: they are contiguous with no gaps, they end on the series finale, and each runs between 1248 and 1349 seconds. The caption data is English speech recognition, which means the audio is English. This is the dub.
One thing to know before you go looking: the channel numbers these uploads as a continuation of the preceding series rather than starting its count over. Several other Yu-Gi-Oh! series carry partial free runs on that same official channel, but we checked only ZEXAL II upload by upload, so we are giving no counts and making no language claim for the others.
