Gachiakuta’s Second Season Has a First Look. Its First Three Episodes Are Free Here.

Anime News Network reports that a "first look" video for the second season of Gachiakuta is now streaming. Season one first aired in July 2025. That is the extent of it: a preview exists and is public. We have no premiere date for season two, and we are not going to invent one.

Here is the part that matters if the video made you want to actually watch the show.

Three episodes, free and legal, right now

Our index carries three free episodes of Gachiakuta: 1, 2 and 3. All three come from Crunchyroll's own YouTube channel, @crunchyroll, which carries YouTube's verified-channel badge. The numbering is exact, the entry we list as episode 1 is the upload titled "Episode 1", and so on down the line.

Some specifics, because they decide whether an evening is worth it:

• Each episode runs 1,430 seconds, just under 24 minutes. These are full episodes, not clips or previews.
• Each carries an authored English subtitle track rather than a machine-generated one. English subtitles are proven here, not assumed.
• Region access is unrestricted.

We file the series under Action, Drama and Fantasy.

Then it stops

Season one is listed in our index at 24 episodes. We hold three of them. That is a taster, not a library, and there is no version of this where you finish the story on AnimeSphere. Episode 4 is not one of them. The second season is indexed separately in our catalogue and currently holds zero free episodes, with no episode count recorded against it.

We would rather say that plainly than dress three episodes up as coverage.

Twenty series sit at the same ceiling

Gachiakuta is not unusual in this respect. A census of our whole index turned up 20 series holding exactly episodes 1, 2 and 3 from Crunchyroll's own YouTube channels and nothing beyond that. A further 73 series hold episode 1 alone.

We are describing the shape of our own catalogue, not anybody's reasoning. We do not know why those uploads exist, and we are not going to pretend we do.
