Anime Corner reports that a first teaser visual for the fourth season of Jujutsu Kaisen has been put out, with Sukuna on it, and names the arc it covers as the second part of the Culling Game. We hold no page for a fourth season, so that is all we can say about it. It is a fair moment for a question our own data can answer: follow a recommendation out of our index, and what plays free?
Each entry we hold can carry a list of other entries recorded as recommendations. 11,768 of our 20,498 entries carry at least one, writing 74,777 links between them at 10,800 distinct targets. Ranking entries by how many others list them counts links inside our own database and nothing else: not a rating, not popularity. 8,725 entries carry an empty list, concentrated in sequels and unaired shows, so the ranking rests on the 11,768 that carry links. We fetched the 300 highest-ranked pages twice today: all returned HTTP 200 both times, none changed between passes.
Where there is a free episode, it is usually one
Of the 100 highest-ranked entries, 18 state a free-episode count to a reader in the United States, and those 18 total 310 free episodes. 269 of that total sit on the 1997 Pokemon television series, a distortion in the count rather than a recommendation here, leaving 41 across the other 17. 14 of the 18 state exactly one free episode. Widening to the 300 keeps the shape: 44 state a count, totalling 432, and 31 of those state exactly one.
Jujutsu Kaisen ranks 20th, listed by 79 other entries. Its page states 1 free episode against the 24 our index records for the series. Neon Genesis Evangelion leads at 123 and states no free-episode count. Nor do Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (113), Puella Magi Madoka Magica (108), Sailor Moon (106), Bleach (86) or ONE PIECE (79).
ARIA The ANIMATION, thirteen of thirteen
Ranked 90th, listed by 52 entries. Our index records a 2005 television series of 13 episodes at 24 minutes, and the page states 13 free episodes, the complete recorded run. All 13 rows sit on the Nozomi Entertainment channel, which carries no YouTube verified badge, with a country allow-list of Canada and the United States. Episodes 1, 7 and 13 were fetched today. Each resolved, each upload title names the episode number we store and marks itself subtitled, and each runs 1,400 to 1,416 seconds. None of the three exposes a caption track, and a still frame from episode 13 carries an English subtitle line, so the subtitles are burned in. Japanese audio, English subtitles, no way to turn them off.
Magic Knight Rayearth, twenty of twenty
Ranked 232nd, listed by 36 entries. Our index records a 1994 shoujo television series of 20 episodes at 24 minutes, and the page states 20 free episodes, again the complete recorded run. All 20 rows sit on Anime! on TMS Official Channel, which carries a YouTube verified badge, and the allow-list includes the United States. Episodes 1, 10 and 20 were fetched today. Each upload title ends "English Dub" and names the episode number we store, each exposes an automatic English caption track generated from English audio, and each runs 1,475 to 1,478 seconds.
