Cast and staff have been announced for Koma-Dori Mofmof Parade, a stop-motion anime produced by dwarf studios, which debuts in January 2027. Kensho Ono, KENN, Soma Saito and Yuya Hirose are among the cast, and there are more cast members our summary does not name. The report comes from Anime News Network.
What can be described in specifics today is one channel already sitting in our index.
The GEIDAI ANIMATION entries
222 entries in our index carry a free video from a single YouTube channel, GEIDAI ANIMATION. Read today, the channel's description identifies it as Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation. That is the channel's account of itself, and it is the only source we have for the claim. The channel does not carry a YouTube verified badge.
All 222 are recorded as single-episode works: 220 as films and 2 as specials, each with an episode count of 1. No row carries a country gate. Recorded running times range from 1 minute to 17 minutes, averaging 5.7 minutes.
The full set, not a sample, was fetched from animesphere.app today. Every one of the 222 pages loaded, each states exactly one free episode, and each carries the word Free in its page title. None failed. Every video behind those entries was fetched as well, with no failures, and every upload title matches the title our index carries for that entry, with an individual creator's name given alongside it. A few entries carry two uploads of the same film.
Three of them, and what their pages report
My Little Goat runs 613 seconds. The Sakuramoto broom workshop runs 556 seconds. Roll Call runs 124 seconds. Each of those three live pages states one free episode.
On captions the three differ. The watch pages for My Little Goat and Roll Call each report an automatic Japanese caption track. The page for The Sakuramoto broom workshop reports no caption track at all. None of the three reports an English caption track. What language is spoken in those three films, or whether any is, we did not establish, and the caption data settles it in neither direction.
A series on a different channel
Candy Caries is not a film and not on that channel. Its rows sit on a channel called Candy Caries Official, and their country list includes the United States. It is free here at 16 of its 24 episodes, with the live page reading "Watch 16 episodes of Candy Caries free and legal on AnimeSphere" and noting Japanese audio. The same page states that episodes 17 to 24 are elsewhere. Our index records it at roughly 3 minutes an episode.
The announcement remains an announcement. The 222 entries are on the shelf now.
