Leo Morimoto Dies at 83: His Anime Is Not Free Here, but These Three Series Are

Leo Morimoto, the Japanese actor and narrator, has died at the age of 83. His agency said he died on 4 September, and the cause is not known, Anime News Network reports. In anime, he played the lead in The Wings of Honnêamise, a 1987 film. He voiced Captain Erskine in Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple, and he was the narrator of Dragon Goes House-Hunting and of Bartender. For many years he also narrated Thomas & Friends in Japanese.
