My Crush’s Crush Is Getting an Anime. On the Love Triangle Shelf, 28 Entries of 690 Offer a Free Episode
We swept every entry our index tags Love Triangle against the live site. Twenty-eight state a free count, sixteen of those state exactly one episode, and one complete run states twelve free episodes without mentioning that the subtitles are Chinese.

A television anime has been confirmed for My Crush's Crush, the manga written by Sekina Aoi and drawn by Ryo Tsuzura, which the pair began in November 2022. Aoi is also credited as the creator of Gamers!. That is the entire announcement, as reported by Anime News Network. No studio, no cast, no broadcast window, and not one line about the story.
What our index holds for Gamers!
With nothing to check on the new series, the nearest thing our index records is the writer's earlier adaptation. We list Gamers! as a 2017 television series with twelve recorded episodes. Its page states no free episode count, and we hold none of it free.
The highest ranked tag our index carries for Gamers! is Love Triangle, at rank 88 out of 100. That tag sits on 690 catalogue entries. Every one of those pages was pulled today and all 690 loaded. Twenty-eight of them state a free episode count, adding up to 84 episodes.
- Sixteen of the twenty-eight state exactly one free episode.
- Only four state a count that matches the entry's own recorded episode total.
Most of those twenty-eight are a single episode, not a series.
Two with complete or near-complete free runs
There's No Freaking Way I'll Be Your Lover! Unless... states 12 free episodes against 12 recorded, so the free run is the complete series. The channel is "It's Anime powered by REMOW", which carries a YouTube verified badge. Episodes 1 and 12 were checked today. Both resolved, each reporting an authored English subtitle track alongside an automatic Japanese caption track: Japanese audio with real English subtitles, not an English dub. The page's own language note reads "Japanese audio". The upload titles number themselves E1 and E12, matching what we store. Each runs 1,431 seconds against a recorded length of 24 minutes, and the country allow-list on those rows includes the United States.
We Rent Tsukumogami states 11 free episodes against 12 recorded, so the free run stops one short of the series. The channel is "Anime! on TMS Official Channel", also verified. Two uploads were checked today and both resolved. Neither exposes an English caption track in either direction, only an automatic Japanese one; the upload titles say "English Sub", which is the channel labelling its own version. Each runs 1,500 seconds against a recorded length of 25 minutes, and the allow-list includes the United States. Our episode numbering does not line up with the channel's.
What a free count does not say
You Can't Be in a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! states 12 free episodes against 12 recorded, and states no language note of any kind. Episodes 1 and 12 were checked today and both resolved, each running 1,445 seconds against a recorded 24 minutes. The twelve episodes are genuinely there and genuinely free.
The channel is "Anime Manga Official", and it carries no YouTube verified badge. Each upload reports an authored Traditional Chinese subtitle track and an automatic Japanese caption track, and neither exposes an English track in either direction. The upload titles themselves state Japanese audio with Traditional Chinese subtitles. A reader who takes that free count as a promise of English subtitles has not been told otherwise.
