A new My Hero Academia short centred on Eri was detailed today, with its main staff, a synopsis and a preview all revealed. A day earlier, a new Top 10 Heroes visual was put out for the My Hero Academia 10th anniversary. The particulars are with Anime Corner, which also covers the anniversary visual.
Twenty-four entries, zero episodes
Our index holds 24 My Hero Academia entries, television seasons, films, OVAs, shorts and specials, dated from spring 2016 through spring 2026. Across all 24 there are no episode rows at all. Not rows locked to another region, not rows demoted down the ranking, not rows in some other language. Zero. Ranked by popularity in our index, My Hero Academia sits 5th and My Hero Academia Season 2 sits 17th, and we have nothing free to hand you from either.
The top of the index is thinner than it looks
Of the 25 most popular titles in our index, 20 hold no free episode a United States viewer can reach. The other five hold 29 episodes between them, and it is worth stating exactly what those 29 are.
Attack on Titan accounts for 25 of them, and every one is the French dub: the upload titles say French Dub, the only caption track is French speech recognition, and three sampled frames show no subtitle line. Assassination Classroom holds one episode, on Crunchyroll's Brazilian channel, its title marking it as dubbed in Portuguese.
Three of the 29 are ones we can prove a United States reader would watch in English. Jujutsu Kaisen has a single episode on Crunchyroll's own verified channel: Japanese audio, its only caption track Japanese speech recognition, and an English subtitle line burned into the picture in frames taken a quarter and three quarters of the way through. Mob Psycho 100 has one on the verified channel too, titled English Dub, running 1,460 seconds. Re:ZERO has one director's cut, 3,170 seconds, also titled English Dub on the verified channel. Both of those carry an authored English subtitle track and English speech captions.
This is why we check the upload and not the database field. One Jujutsu Kaisen row in our index is tagged as English; the video it points at is titled as the German dub, on Crunchyroll's German channel. That is one row, given as an illustration.
The same thinness shows up in 2016, the one year we counted. Our index holds 526 entries dated 2016, and 16 of them hold any free episode a United States viewer can reach.
Two complete runs you can finish
We are not offering these as substitutes. What they are is complete, and both were checked episode by episode today.
- ZINBA. All 52 episodes, on Anime! on TMS's official channel, on a country allow-list that includes the United States. All 52 uploads were checked: none failed to load, no two are the same episode, our numbers match the uploads' own exactly, and every title ends with English Dub, Full Episode.
- Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. All 49 episodes, on Gundam Channel INTL, no region restriction. All 49 checked, same result: no failures, no duplicates, numbering exact. The uploads carry an authored English subtitle track.
A short is coming and an anniversary is being marked. On our own catalogue we can tell you two things: one is a blank, and the other is a pair of runs you can watch to the end.
