A second promotional video for the Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden anime is out, and more performers have been added to the cast. The series starts on 6 October and is set to run for half a year. Our index has it as a television series with no episode count or air date recorded yet, and tags it Reincarnation. Its page reads "Watch Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden Online" and states no free episode count, as you would expect of a series that has not started.
The one-episode wall
So how much of this tag is already free and legal to watch? We hold 325 entries tagged Reincarnation. By format: 184 television series, 67 web series, 37 films, 22 OVAs, 7 television shorts, 4 specials and 4 music videos. All 325 pages were fetched twice today. Every one returned HTTP 200 both times, with no difference between passes in any count or note.
Only 34 of the 325 state a free episode count at all, and those 34 add up to 167 episodes. The shape of that number is the story: 21 of the 34 state exactly one episode. The four deepest account for 104 of the 167, at 51, 24, 18 and 11. Five reach their recorded total, but one is a single film with a total of one, so only four are complete multi-episode runs. Of the 34, 20 show no language note, 8 read "Chinese audio, English subs" and 6 read "Japanese audio".
The well-known titles are in the one-episode column. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, Wise Man's Grandchild, I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, and Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles each state a single free episode.
Three that go past one episode

Episodes 1, 2, 50 and 51 each match the numbers we store, and all four report an authored English subtitle track beside an automatic Japanese caption track: Japanese audio with real English subtitles, not a dub. Each runs 1,585 seconds against a recorded episode length of 25 minutes, and all four played from a United States request today.
B.King states 18 free episodes against a recorded total of 18, also a complete run. It sits on Bilibili's official anime channel, which carries a YouTube verified badge. The Chinese upload titles number the episodes, with 18 marked as the season finale; episodes 1, 2 and 18 match our numbers. The page note reads "Chinese audio, English subs". All three played from a United States request today.
I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability stops at 3 free episodes against a recorded total of 12. The channel is Crunchyroll, which carries a YouTube verified badge. Uploads are numbered Episode 1 to Episode 3, matching our records, and each reports an authored English subtitle track with an automatic Japanese caption track.
