The Psyren television anime starts on October 5, a new promotional video confirms, according to Anime News Network. Nobuyuki Hiyama and Yūko Kaida have been added to the voice cast, and the band CLAN QUEEN sings the opening theme. Our index holds one entry for Psyren: a 2026 television series credited to the studio Satelight, not yet aired. Nothing of it is free here.
Every tag in our index carries a rank out of 100 showing how central it is to a title. Psyren's five tags all sit at rank 20, one of them Death Game, a shelf of 94 entries.
Where the free episodes sit by tag rank
Six of the 94 pages state a free episode count, 31 episodes in total. The other 88 state none. Grouped by rank band, the stated free episodes fall as the band rises:
- 42 entries carry Death Game at rank 80 or above. One states a count: Battle Game in 5 Seconds, at rank 99, with 1 free episode.
- 37 entries carry it at a rank from 60 to 79. Gleipnir (rank 79) and Tomodachi Game (rank 75) state 1 free episode each.
- 15 entries carry it below rank 60, Psyren among them. Three state counts adding up to 28: Fatal Rule (rank 20) with 16, Yu-Gi-Oh! (rank 26) with 10 and LIAR GAME (rank 54) with 2.
So the entries most centred on a death game hold one free episode between them, while 28 of the 31 belong to entries that carry it below rank 60. LIAR GAME's two are not full episodes: the uploads its page plays are titled as a specially edited cut and a digest, running 1,077 and 648 seconds.
What the one-episode pages play
The episode 1 page for Battle Game in 5 Seconds plays a German dub from the Crunchyroll Deutschland channel, which carries YouTube's verified badge. Our index also holds an English-dub upload of that episode on the Crunchyroll channel, but the page does not play it.
Gleipnir's episode 1 page plays an upload from the Crunchyroll Brasil channel, which also carries the badge, with a Portuguese title and Japanese audio. Here too, our index holds an English-dub upload of that episode on the Crunchyroll channel, which the page does not play.
Tomodachi Game's episode 1 page plays an upload from the Crunchyroll channel, which carries the badge, titled "Tomodachi Game Episode 1 English Dub", and its audio is English. Its country list is unrestricted. We record 12 episodes for the series, so the free run stops after the first.
What a reader will hear in English
Two things on the Death Game shelf are established as playing in English on their pages. The first is that Tomodachi Game episode. The second is episodes 1 to 5 of Yu-Gi-Oh!, the 2000 television series. Those play uploads from the Official Yu-Gi-Oh! channel, which carries the badge, and their audio is English.
Yu-Gi-Oh!'s page states 10 free episodes of the 224 we record: episodes 1 to 9 and episode 28. Episodes 6 to 9 play uploads from the RetroCrush channel, which carries the badge. Their country list names Canada and the United States. Episode 28 plays a Spanish-titled upload from the CONtv channel, which carries no verified badge.
