Tanya's Second Season Gets an English Dub: What Our Military Shelf Offers Free
None of the four Saga of Tanya the Evil entries is free here. Of 855 military entries, 28 state a free episode count. Two picks with English audio, plus a complete 40-episode run in Japanese audio.

Tanya's second season now has an English dub, according to Anime News Network. The cast named for it includes Jason Douglas, Monica Rial and J. Michael Tatum, among others. The report as we hold it gives no release date and no place to watch.
The news is about English audio, so the useful follow-up is what can be heard in English on our military shelf today. For Tanya itself, the answer is nothing.
The four Tanya entries
Our index holds four Saga of Tanya the Evil entries: the 2017 television series; the second season, recorded as a 2026 television series of 12 episodes; a 2019 film; and a 2021 ONA called Operation Desert Pasta. None of the four offers a free episode here.
Every tag in our index carries a rank out of 100 for how central it is to a title. All four Tanya entries carry the Military tag. The second season has it at rank 100 and the 2017 series at 98.
The Military shelf
In all, 855 entries carry the Military tag. Only 28 of them state a free episode count, with 197 free episodes between them, and 15 of those 28 state exactly one. The other 827 state no free episode at all.
Of those, 107 carry Military at rank 90 or higher, and all four Tanya entries are among them. Just four of the 107 state a free count, 43 free episodes in total. The other 103 state none. Three of the four state a single free episode: Mobile Suit Gundam (1979), Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (2002) and Muv-Luv Alternative (2021). The fourth is Lady Oscar: The Rose of Versailles (1979). Its page states 40 free episodes, matching the 40 we record, so this run is complete. The uploads come from Anime! on TMS Official Channel, which carries a YouTube verified badge. They are numbered EP01 through EP40 and line up with our episode list. Each runs between 1,426 and 1,457 seconds, so these are full episodes, and each lists the United States among its countries. Every upload title ends with "English Sub", but the audio on episodes 1, 20 and 40 is Japanese, not an English dub.
Two picks with English audio
Two titles on the shelf have free episodes with English audio and make sensible starting points. They are recommendations, not a tally of every English audio title here.
Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign (2015) carries Military at rank 84. Its page states 3 free episodes of the 12 we record, so the free run covers episodes 1 to 3 and stops there. All three uploads sit on the verified Crunchyroll Dubs channel on YouTube, titled by episode number to match our list. Each has English audio, runs 1,453 seconds against a recorded length of 24 minutes, and carries no country restriction.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED is the other. Its single free episode, of the 50 we record, is titled "PHASE: 01 False Peace | Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Episode 1" and also sits on the verified Crunchyroll Dubs channel. It has English audio, runs 1,615 seconds and carries no country restriction.
