The Fable Season 2 Is Set for January 2027, and Yakuza-Tagged Anime State Just 15 Free Episodes Here

The Fable, the television anime adapted from Katsuhisa Minami's manga, will return for a second season in January 2027. The date came with a teaser trailer that now plays on the anime's official website, Anime News Network reports.

Tezuka Productions is again the studio and Ryōsuke Takahashi again directs. Kazuyuki Okitsu is among the returning voice cast. The music is new: Yo Tsuji takes over as composer. The first season began in April 2024 and ran for two consecutive quarters of a year. Minami's manga was serialised in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine from November 2014 until November 2019.

The Fable is not free here

The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting has episode 1 free, one of twelve. It is a full episode, an English dub, on the Crunchyroll channel on YouTube.

Meiji Gekken: 1874 has episodes 1, 2 and 3 free, three of ten, also on the Crunchyroll channel. They are full episodes with Japanese audio and an English subtitle track.

Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii has episode 1 free, one of twelve, on the same channel. It is a full episode with an English subtitle track.

City Hunter, a 1987 series from Sunrise, has episodes 1 to 9 free, nine of 51, from a channel named CONtv. Each is a full episode whose upload title carries the matching episode number. Those titles do not say whether the episodes are dubbed or subtitled, and nothing can be said here about their language.

The uploads behind those free episodes all include the United States among their permitted countries.

ODDTAXI's page states episode 1 free, but its episode 1 page currently plays a Portuguese-titled upload from the Crunchyroll Brasil channel with no English track.
