The Astra Awards gave their best anime prize to Witch Hat Atelier. Anime News Network puts the ceremony on Saturday, in Los Angeles. Nothing further about the ceremony is established, so the question worth answering here is the one a reader of this site actually has, which is what our pages let them watch of the winner.
One episode, twenty-four minutes
Our index files Witch Hat Atelier as a web original from spring 2026, thirteen episodes long, with a recorded episode length of 24 minutes, tagged Adventure, Drama and Fantasy. Its page on animesphere.app was fetched today and returned HTTP 200. It states one free episode, and that is the count production serves.
That episode was opened in full today. It runs 1,430 seconds against the recorded 24 minutes, which makes it a whole episode rather than a clip, and YouTube reports it as playable from a United States request. The country allow-list recorded on the row includes the United States. Our index records the upload on the Crunchyroll channel, which carries a YouTube verified badge, checked today. The watch page reports nine authored subtitle tracks, one of them English, alongside an automatic Japanese track. An authored track is a real subtitle track published with the upload rather than a machine generated one, and the automatic Japanese track is evidence the audio is Japanese. Japanese audio, then, with real English subtitles.
The season the winner sits in

Episodes are not minutes

That figure is our own multiplication of two recorded fields, not a stopwatch reading, so it is an estimate drawn from our data rather than a measured runtime.
Of the five largest counts, three belong to series we record at three minutes an episode or less, one is a 25-minute series, and one is PetitCure: Precure Fairies Season 3, which records no episode length at all and therefore falls outside the estimate. It states 15 free episodes.

- Candy Caries states 16, recorded at 3 minutes, which comes to 48 minutes.
- Akane-banashi states 12, recorded at 25 minutes, which comes to 300 minutes and the largest block of time on the shelf.
