Usagi's love interest. A dedicated and talented young ninja who is head of the Hattori clan of Segachi in lower Iga, hence his being referred to as Shimo-no-Hanzō (下の半蔵 "Lower-(Iga)-Hanzō") to distinguish him from the other ninja also named "Hanzō Hattori" (including the historical Hanzō Hattori).
