Verg

Verg is one of Zorndyke's creations, and is the captain of The Phantom Ship. His most prominent gene splice is that of a shark. Verg cannot naturally speak human tongue, and has a voice synthesizer imbedded into his neck that translates his grunts and growls into human tongue, though his growling can still be heard over his synthesized voice. As one of Zorndykes "children", Verg refers to Zorndyke as "papa" and seeks his praise for his effort to destroy the Blue Fleet. Verg seems to have little regard for the other…
