His real name is Victor Hartmann; also spelled in some translations as Hilshire (which is what he is know as in the show). An agent of Section 2, and Triela's handler and a former Europol detective, Hilshire prefers a hands-off approach to Triela and, like Jose, he dislikes heavy use of conditioning.
