Aoga was a student at Shinigami Academy. He was a Sempai to Momo Hinamori, Renji Abarai and Izuru Kira. Aoga was killed by a hollow during a training mission in the material world led by him, Shūhei Hisagi and Kanisawa, when he tried to avenge the death of the latter.
