Yong-Bi is a senior member of the old Murim, being a part of the Sage Forest. In the past, he was a bounty hunter and once served as the Black Lancers' Lord Commander and as a general under the Grand General's Command (대장군부, Daejang-gunbu), the most powerful military organization in the country which was under the direct command of the Emperor.
