Akane Higure

A middle school student living in Kagami Village. The second daughter of the Higure family and an "older-sister-child". While she loves her older sister, she also has a complex toward her sister who can do anything, and possesses both admiration and jealousy. In public, she is prickly, but a child-like side remains, such as increasing her self-esteem through conversations with her pet medaka.
