Enkidu is known to be Gilgamesh's only true friend and much like him, they regard their friendship highly. While they may have the appearance of a human they're nothing more than a doll made of mud, shaped and given life by the Gods. Before assuming their current form and acquiring intellect and knowledge, they spent a long time roaming the forests and thus has a deep connection with nature.
