The male protagonist of the story. That attends the ansarivan dragon rider academy. Where he is taught how to be a breeder. A generally calm person, and was the ony one who did not have his drageon hatched in high school. He has a special ability that lets him ride on any dragon, which is unusual since dragons only obey the master they have been hatched from.
