Synopsis
In the heavily tinged aftermath of defeat, in November of Showa 19 (1944), Lieutenant Colonel Minoru Genda of the Imperial Japanese Navy established an elite squadron by gathering ace pilots from various locations, with the intention of being the "trump card for homeland defense."
That squadron would later become renowned as the legendary "Sword Squadron" - the 343rd Naval Air Group.
Centered around the protagonist, Naoshi Kanou, a man feared as the "Ace Killer" within the formidable 343rd squadron, this story depicts the extraordinary exploits of these young, fearless pilots with astonishing artistry!
