Twitter Yasutaka Yamamoto debuted as a storyboard maker and a producer with episode 34 of Idaten Jump (2005) after working as an assistant producer for My Melody (2005) He then worked as an assistant director for The Orphans of Simitra (2008), and debuted as a director with Valkyria Chronicles the following year. Since then, he has worked on many productions as a director, storyboard maker, and producer. Some of these titles include: Actually, I Am… (2015), Hinomaru Sumo (2018), and Nekopara (2020).
