Synopsis
Himura Kenshin, the former assassin known as Hitokiri Battousai, has left the Kamiya Kasshin-ryu dojo in Tokyo to face Shishiho Makoto, who plans an insurrection to take over Japan. With his friends in pursuit to support him, Kenshin makes new allies and fights new enemies on his journey to Kyoto, all while resisting the urge to regress to his violent Battousai persona.
