The second film in a duology compiling the Mawaru Penguindrum anime with new elements. In order to save the life of their younger sister Himari, twin brothers Kanba and Shoma Takakura search for the Penguindrum under the command of a mysterious penguin hat. Meanwhile, believing in her own destiny, high school girl Ringo Oginome continues to make the events written in her diary come true. All the while, Masako Natsume continues trying to get her hands on Ringo’s diary in order to find guidance to a new destiny. Ten years have passed since they began searching for the Penguindrum, and now Kanba and Shoma, who once boarded a train that changed their destiny, have returned for a moment from that destined place.
